Kaszub-Bait

A WooCommerce store, rebuilt headless and modern.

What it is

Kaszub-Bait.pl is a Polish e-commerce store for the fishing/angling market — rods, lures, jerkbaits, imitation baitfish, thermoactive apparel, and other tackle. This project is a full re-platforming of the existing WooCommerce/WordPress store onto a modern Medusa v2 + SvelteKit stack, including migration of 54 categories, 91 products, 163 variants, and 308 customers.

Highlights

  • Browsable catalog with category hierarchy, product/variant pages, and migrated imagery
  • Cart and checkout with PLN and EUR regions and multiple shipping options
  • Customer accounts: registration, login, order history, auth-guarded routes
  • Payment integration for Przelewy24 (BLIK, card, installments) plus InPost parcel lockers (in progress)
  • Product data enriched by scraping the manufacturer’s site

Stack

TypeScript/Node.js · Medusa v2 backend (PostgreSQL 15, Redis 7) · SvelteKit 2 + Svelte 5 + Tailwind CSS v4 storefront (@medusajs/js-sdk) · Docker for local infra.

Status: In development — core store (catalog, cart, accounts) working; payments, parcel lockers, i18n, and production deploy on the roadmap.
